The Inner Journal
For all those who live and lead from within.
A quiet space away from the outside world, the hustle, and prevailing algorithms.
When I first embarked on this journey, social media enhanced my work and life. Then, it changed, and I noticed myself having to hustle more. Somehow, visibility, likes, and comments - appearing a certain way - became a parameter for how we should be.
When did we lose ourselves in the process?
There are two sides to the coin, good and bad. And, it's up to each of us how we approach it.
Some say if you don't exist on these platforms, you or your business are nonexistent. So whether we like it or not, we learn to play by these rules...
From my experience, you can learn how to build a sustainable business or career and not lose your soul. It doesn't come easy, but it's certainly worth it. As with anything, we choose our hard.
This week, as I opened LinkedIn to post (admittedly, LinkedIn and I have had an on-and-off relationship with content), my homepage was full of sponsored posts and how-tos... How to write a perfect hook, how many times per week to post for higher engagement, etc.
I couldn’t look at it the way I used to (you could argue, ''isn't it a part of your job?''). There are better ways to go about it.
And I see more often these days that so many of you are also tired of playing, or even looking at the performance we see wherever we log in.
So instead of another post, I spent my time differently and created a space away from algorithms.
A journal, between me and you, wanting to grow consciously.
Welcome to my world,
Joanna
