Learning from Those Who Paved the Way

Those in power can influence change. And those with knowledge and the ability to innovate can provide solutions to a great number of problems. – Sir David Attenborough
We live in a world where most are optimising in the AI race.
And we have burnout people on a burnout planet.
Sustainability has become a buzzword, trying to persuade us that what we buy is doing good for the environment, when in reality, it’s often far from the truth.
I used to believe and purchase many great things I saw and read, until I went deeper into branding and experienced its other side, from greenwashing to bluewashing and everything in between.
I’m not going to purpose-wash you myself.
Until fairly recently, I paid some attention to climate change, having switched to a flexitarian diet years ago, I mainly focused on those ‘ethical’ brands, and, when I could, I engaged in eco-friendly events.
Something more personal influenced me to delve deeper into the subject, and what I learned made me look at climate and nature like never before, and take on a completely different action.
If you feel overwhelmed, but somehow compelled to explore more about the impact of climate change, start by learning from those who paved the way.
Happy 100th birthday, Sir David Attenborough! May your legacy live through millions more committed to carrying it forward.
